The North-west biggest bike ride for Christie’s completed by some members of IFFAM
The 23rd annual Manchester to Blackpool bike ride. The cycling started from Manchester along country lanes, and finished besided the stunning Mirror Ball on the Blackpool’s South Promenade.
Route distance : 60 miles !
This was on the 12 July 09 and we’ve completed the bike ride which was mostly up-hill & very windy !!!!

Ambitious plans are underway to transform services including a new £35 million patient development which will provide Christie with the biggest early clinical trials unit in the world and an expanded class chemotherapy facility.
Christie are also planning to open two new £17 million radiotherapy centres in Oldham and Salford in UK which will provide Christie quality care for patients much closer to their homes.
Christie are counting on the public’s support to help Christie transform cancer services for more than 40,000 patients every year.
